Porphyry Copper-Gold Project in World-Class East Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW Australia
St Barbara Limited (“St Barbara”) is seeking expressions of interest in a Joint Venture for its Nyngan Project (“Nyngan” or the “Project”), located in the highly prospective East Lachlan Fold Belt, central New South Wales. The Project comprises five granted tenements covering almost 800km2 of one of the largest interpreted volcano-intrusive centres of the Macquarie Arc. The Macquarie Arc was formed during convergence in the Ordovician to early Silurian and hosts multiple world-class copper-gold mineral deposits such as the Northparkes, Cadia and Cowal deposits. This Project presents an exciting opportunity to acquire one of the few remaining under-explored volcanic centres in NSW prospective for world class porphyry copper-gold mineralisation.
